Do experienced developers use Wordpress? [closed]

Wordpress

I understand Wordpress is great and it helps people to build amazing websites without knowing the complexities of writing code.

But I spent good amount of time understanding the wordpress, but i feel I have to learn the whole structure of it to start the project. I feel like I should just write the code from scratch.

What would be your suggestion on this? btw, i am planning to develop a website with about 10 pages for a client. Thanks.
